The famous seafood platter

I met Chris at the Mercer Hotel in NYC to have a bite before a Knicks playoff game. I think this is one of the classic memories I have of him - with respect to food. Whether it was Smith and Wollenskys or the deck at West Gilgo, the seafood platter was king.

On top of WTC2 August 1979

This goes with the pizza shot. Slowly going through negatives I hadn't looked at in years. This was a surprise. CQ was @ NYU law school.

Eating Pizza

I took this down near NYU on Broadway. Must have been around 1980. Traci and Chris. I found this in a box of old prints - I thought I had gone through everything but realized several books of
negatives still needing to be reviewed so maybe more photos?

The actual event of 9/11

I've refrained from posting images about the cause of Chris' death and focused on who he was but it's hard, if not impossible to not feel  both his loss and the cause. This image was taken on West Street looking north towards ground zero, a week after the fact. As you can see on our faces, our hope is all but gone.

Going live

Well as this is visible, I've been able to redesign and transfer DNS and hosting. I hadn't planned on doing this just before 9/11 but I've needed to get my work website redesigned and hosted so I let momentum carry me to do Chris's site as well. It's simple but I think it works. As always, if you want to contribute anything (photos, stories...) let me know.
